Collection: Alan Taylor Art
Living in Yarm on Tees North Yorkshire with his family and Irish rescue dog Monty, Alan and his wife have a passion for art and animal welfare.
The love for art for Alan started as a teenager when he first began experimenting with oil paints. He then became interested in photography and for many years was absorbed in the process of capturing images of landscapes.
As a lecturer, he taught digital graphic design for computer games that included concept art for characters, scenery and heads up displays. Alan enjoyed watching his students develop and was impressed with their drawing skills and imagination, so much so it inspired him to pick up the pencils and develop graphite drawing skills which then led to both water colour painting and colour pencil drawing and more recently pastel painting.
